Our Founding
Cocolin Industries Sdn Bhd (364358-W) was incorporated in 1997 under the Companies Act 1965. Our main objective was to participate in the government’s endeavor to grow the food industry, particularly in Sarawak.
The company initially suffered several turbulent years including a difficult economic recession. However, we survived these storms. Producing safe and quality food is our goal and commitment. Through years of upgrading and enhancement of processing facilities with the support of consultants and health professionals, we were awarded the HACCP certification by the Ministry of Health of 14 March 2008.
Our Mission
To work closely with the Malaysian Government in harnessing the potential of agriculture in diversifying the Malaysian economy.
To play a leading role in working towards the realization of the Right Honorable Chief Minister YAB Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud’s vision of an Agropolis in Sarawak.
To uplift the living standards of the local populace by providing them with employment opportunities and endowing them with new skills to further upgrade their living standards.
Our Prospects
The company aims to explore all possibilities in making every part of the coconut into value added products in a single flow-process concept, namely coconut oil, carbon teta-chloride, fibre based products, beverages, frozen pure coconut milk, cosmetics and skin care products, and many more.
